Public Safety, in Tatsuki Fujimoto's world, consists of suited bureaucrats sent to ordinary streets. No castles, no arenas: just wet pavement, peeling posters, a buzzing sign. This illustration captures that exact setting — and that's what makes it so credible.

The color treatment does the rest. The entire scene is cast in a nocturnal turquoise that leaves only three things visible: the halo of the Angel Devil, the katana guard on Aki's back, and the two elongated reflections in the puddles.
