This department brings together 37 manga and anime weapon replicas: katanas, swords, axes, and staves, ranging from €44.90 to €144.90, with a median price of €64.90. These are cosplay and decorative items, not weapons.

What these replicas are, and what they are not

Let’s say this before anything else. These are decorative and costume items, made to look like a character's weapon—not to cut anything.

Materials vary from piece to piece: soft PU foam for the majority of the blades, wood for the handles and certain scabbards, thermoformed plastic or ABS for the guards and ornaments. A few pieces feature decorative metal elements.

Each product page specifies the exact material of the blade, and that is the line to read first. We are not generalizing here, because the 37 pieces are not made the same way.

Katanas dominate, because they are the most represented weapon in the series—and the most requested for cosplay.

The universes represented

The department follows series where the weapon is a character in its own right. One Piece with Roronoa Zoro's three swords—the white Wado Ichimonji, Enma, and the black and gold saya. Demon Slayer with the Pillars' nichirin, each taking on a different color depending on the breathing technique. Bleach with the zanpakutō, starting with Rukia's Sode no Shirayuki. Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan and its three-dimensional maneuver gear, Frieren, Solo Leveling, Kagurabachi.

Some pieces are LED light-up blades: they glow along their entire length, in a fixed color or in RGB. These are the most expensive in the department, and the ones that look best in a dark room.

Japanese sword terminology

The product pages use Japanese terms because the series do. Here is how to read them.

• Katana — the long, curved blade sword, worn with the sharp edge facing up. It is the most common form in this department.
• Saya — the scabbard. This is often the most decorated piece: lacquer, painted patterns, trim.
• Tsuba — the handguard, the disc between the blade and the handle. Its shape is a strong identifier of the character.
• Tsuka — the handle, usually wrapped. The colors of the wrapping identify the wielder as much as the blade.
• Nodachi — a sword significantly longer than a katana, worn on the back.
• Wakizashi — the short sword, which traditionally accompanies the katana.

A note on the nichirin from Demon Slayer: it is an invention of the series, not a historical type. The blade changes color depending on who is holding it, which obviously has no real-life equivalent—but explains why our Demon Slayer replicas are so colorful.

Sizes, and what they imply

The bulk of the department is between 72 and 104 cm, with a few longer pieces: a mage staff goes up to 142 cm.

This is not a minor detail. A 104 cm replica will not fit in a standard closet, will not fit in a carry-on suitcase, and must be transported in a bag. If the item is intended for a convention, check the length before the resemblance—it will dictate the weekend's logistics.

Displaying them: a stand is not optional

A 104 cm blade leaned against a wall will slide, fall, and damage the tip. It also takes up much more space than a wall mount would.

A horizontal stand places the piece at eye level, keeps it off the floor, and transforms a cosplay accessory into a decorative object. Two katanas stacked on a stand take up less space than one standing upright.

We do not offer them yet—the department is open but empty, and we prefer to say so rather than leaving you to search. In the meantime, a commercial wall mount will do: just check that it accommodates the length of your piece, as most stop at 100 cm.

Prices, from €44.90 to €144.90

The difference is due to three things. The length, first—a 104 cm piece requires more material and specific packaging. The complexity of the scabbard next: a lacquered saya with painted patterns costs more than a plain one. And finally the electronics on the light-up blade models, which are the most expensive in the department.

What to know before ordering

Delivery is slower. These pieces exceed standard postal formats: expect a few extra days compared to a figurine.

The packaging is long and thin, and thus visible. If it is a surprise gift, the parcel will not leave much room for doubt.

Transport in public requires a carrying bag. We do not provide a carrying bag; this is an accessory to plan for if you are attending a convention.

Frequently asked questions

Are the blades sharp?
No. These are decorative replicas. The material of the blade—foam, wood, plastic—is specified on each page, and this is the information to check before any purchase.

Can they be taken to a convention?
Rules vary from event to event: some conventions require a check at the entrance, a closed bag, or strictly prohibit replicas over a certain size. Check with the organizer before you go; they are the ones who decide.

Is the stand included?
No, unless otherwise stated on the page, and we do not sell them yet. A commercial wall rack is suitable, provided it accommodates the length of the piece.

How do I maintain them?
A dry cloth is sufficient. For foam blades, avoid leaving them bent or compressed for a long time: the foam will retain the deformation.
