The story behind the design

The pose is a defensive stance, not an attack — the character is protecting his face while fixing his gaze on the lens. It is one of the few visuals where he isn't shouting.

The red of the background, the red of the gauntlets, and the red of the eyes echo each other; only his light-colored hair stands out. From a distance, the case reads as a single solid color.
