A dozen characters on a column
The image is a vertical montage: a dozen characters in black kimonos and white haoris are stacked from top to bottom of the canvas. Each has their sword drawn, held prominently. The dark red background passes between the silhouettes and connects them, leaving no gaps between the groups.
