The rendering of the skin is the strong point here: the hands are worked with unusual care, including veins and joints, and attract the eye as much as the face. It is a detailed visual, which greatly benefits from large format and loses some of its interest in 25 × 75 cm where the hands become just a simple light patch.

Is the purple true to the print?

Purples are the most delicate colors to print. Here they lean very slightly towards blue compared to a screen, without breaks in the gradients.
