Wash painting, and a red dot
Sasuke emerges from a black wash applied with a broad brush, its edges fraying into drips and splashes. The face is only sharp around the eyes; the rest dissolves into the ink. A single red eye stares at the viewer.
This is the visual that most embraces the wash technique: you can see the brushstrokes, the water load, and the drips. It is as much a drawing as it is a painting, and it is the one that best suits minimalist decor.
