Pink takes over everything. The hair starts from the top of the scroll and falls down to the scaled tail that closes the bottom. Shirahoshi smiles, blue eyes, with a coral ornament on her head. The yellow bustier is outlined with rows of white pearls, and a string of pearls rests on her tail. The blue sky only occupies the upper corners.

The background remains pink almost all the way up, creating a soft piece rather than a contrast. It matches white linen, light wood, and the pastel walls of a bedroom.
