This is the image that made the series famous. Denji pulled, his head was replaced by an orange and black chainsaw block, his mouth wide open with a double row of pointed teeth and a pink tongue, and the blade shoots straight up, almost as high as his torso. The rest hasn't changed: short-sleeved white shirt, crooked black tie, dark gray pants held by a belt, and white sneakers with red trim, like any seventeen-year-old boy.

The detail that the sculptor didn't omit is the arm joints: the two blades don't replace the hands, they emerge from them. You can still see the open fingers at the base of each chainsaw. This is what prevents the piece from tipping over to the monstrous side: there's still a human inside, and he's screaming.

The pose is wide and low, legs apart, as if the momentum had just begun. The three blades form a triangle that takes up space: place it facing forward, at the end of a row or alone on a shelf, not squeezed between two other pieces. Oval black base provided, drilled to receive both feet.

What's the difference from your Transformed Denji 18 cm?
This one is a clean piece on a black base: the transformation, without scenery. The other is a diorama, mounted on a sculpted mass of flesh and blood, with blades and shirt splattered with red. Two very different ways to tell the same moment.

Is the base included?
Yes: an oval black base, drilled with two holes that receive the pegs under the sneakers. The figure stands on it, legs apart.

Is the head blade removable?
It's sculpted with the head block: nothing to assemble, nothing to lose. Hold the piece by the torso rather than a blade.

How to care for and display it properly?
