There are heroic ways to get out of a chokehold, and then there is this one. Frieza's tail is wrapped around the head and neck of Son Goku, who has grabbed it with both hands and is biting it, teeth sunk in, eyebrows furrowed. It's ugly, it's effective, and it's iconic.

Goku is in his base form, black hair, in a gi in tatters: the blue top is torn at the shoulders, the orange bottoms are frayed, the blue belt is still holding on, and his body is covered in cuts painted one by one on his arms, torso, and face.

Above him, Frieza is suspended in mid-air, in his final form—smooth white body, purple plates on his skull, shoulders, chest, and shins—arms crossed, head tilted back. The whole piece rests on a base of ocher rocks opening onto a blue expanse, from which emerge two small blue spheres on stems that evoke the vegetation of Namek. Viewed from the side, the composition forms an "S" that can be seen from a distance.
