The hero who will never be seen becoming a hero

This 21 cm piece captures Garou at the moment he ceases to be human. His body has elongated, his skin has turned grey-black streaked with red, and the white hair that once fell over his face has stood up into spikes. The sculpt retains the silhouette of a man, but nothing of his posture.

The detail that makes this piece is the skin texture: the red veins are not painted flat, they run in relief along the arms and torso, as if something were circulating beneath the surface. The head, meanwhile, is caught between two states—the human face is still there, beneath a monster mask that is currently forming.

Standing on a round black base, it can be placed anywhere. It is a dark piece: it requires a light background or side lighting for the red streaks to stand out; otherwise, the silhouette closes in on itself.

Who is Garou?
A former disciple of a martial arts master who became a "hero hunter": he tracks down heroes from the Association to defeat them one by one, convinced that the world needs a monster rather than a savior.

Is this his human or monster form?
His monster form: dark skin, red veins, elongated silhouette. His human appearance, in martial arts attire, is the subject of a separate piece.

How should it be displayed?
Against a light background, or with grazing light from the side. A dark piece placed in front of a dark background loses all of its depth.

How do I maintain and display it properly?
