How does this differ from the Katanas collection?
The manga katanas group consists of curved, single-edged Japanese blades — the Nichirin from Demon Slayer, the swords from One Piece, and Rukia's zanpakutō from Bleach. This collection gathers everything else: Western straight swords, polearms, mage staves, and blunt weapons. Both are combined in our Manga Weapons section.
Are these replicas dangerous?
No. All are molded from soft PU foam: none have a sharpened edge, a hard point, or any metallic parts. A non-sharpened foam replica is not considered a weapon under French law — it can be owned and transported freely. Common sense suggests carrying it in a case when traveling, and checking convention rules before bringing a 145 cm piece.
What size should I choose?
There are three main formats. Short formats — 41 to 66 cm — fit on a bookshelf and can be tucked into a bag: this applies to the Inverted Spear of Heaven and the Solo Leveling axe. Large blades from 100 to 123 cm require a wall or a dedicated stand. The staves at 142 and 145 cm are the tallest items in the catalog: they are best leaned in a corner rather than hung.
How much do they weigh?
Almost all weigh between 200 and 355 g, regardless of length — this is the advantage of PU foam, allowing you to hold a cosplay pose all day without fatigue. The only exception is Gyomei Himejima's axe and flail, at approximately 790 g, the heaviest item in the section.
How should I display them?
Horizontally on a wall mount for long blades, flat on a shelf for short formats, and leaned in a corner for staves. No stand is included with these replicas: the displays visible in the photos are for staging purposes only. Our guide on displaying and maintaining manga figures provides good habits that are also valid for these weapons — indirect light, dusting with a soft brush, and above all, do not leave a foam piece bent against furniture.
