Berserk Figures

This collection brings together PVC Berserk figures, centering on the man who carries a sword too heavy for a human. Kentaro Miura's manga, which began in 1989, established a dark fantasy that thirty-five years of imitations haven't worn down: dented armor, tattered capes, and an ink style so dense that sculptors render it in relief.

Guts, and the sword you recognize from behind

Guts occupies the center of the range, and manufacturers depict him at his two ages. The Black Swordsman first: mechanical left arm, torn cape, and the Dragonslayer resting on his shoulder—a blade described in the manga as "a heap of raw iron too large to be called a sword." Then the Berserker Armor, the one that deflects blows but consumes the one who wears it: wolf-headed helmet, black mane, posture hunched forward.

Around him, those you don't forget

Nosferatu Zodd in his apostle form, a black mass with a single horn and cloven hooves. The Skull Knight, with his bone armor and rose-emblazoned shield, who always appears at the worst moment and leaves without explaining anything. And, perched on the blade of the larger pieces, the little fairy Puck, the only bright note in a universe that doesn't have many.

A palette that calls for a dark display case

This is the unique feature of this license. Where One Piece plays with orange and red, Berserk works with matte black, brushed steel, and dried blood red. These pieces get lost on a white shelf and take on their full depth under low, side-angled lighting that catches the relief of the armor. This is also why sculptors devote detailed bases to them: split rock, embers, engraved brand.
