Five Blades, No Longer Human

Where the white-shirted version keeps a boy inside, this one keeps nothing. The entire body is black, scaled, articulated like a carapace, the hands end in claws, as do the feet — there are no more sneakers, no more ties, no more clothing at all.

The count is quickly made: five chainsaws. One emerges from the skull and rises towards the sky, two extend the forearms, two others spring from the thighs and go backwards. Each is edged in bright red at its base, as if it had just torn through the skin to come out. The mouth opens to a row of pointed white teeth, and a long red tongue emerges, looping down onto the chest.

The posture is low, knees bent, arms spread — like an animal about to pounce. Pay attention to the space: the figurine is 18 cm high, but the blades extend far beyond the base on each side. It needs width, not height. The matte black / blood red contrast works particularly well on a dark shelf or in front of a light background. Glossy oval black base included.

Is this Denji under the chainsaw?
This is the full demonic form: black body, claws, five blades, no clothing. For the hybrid version — the boy in a white shirt and tie with a chainsaw head — see our 19 cm Denji: the two go very well side by side, precisely because they tell two states of the same being.

How much space does it need?
Allow plenty of room: the blades on the arms and thighs extend significantly beyond the base on each side. Plan for a spot at the end of a shelf rather than between two tight neighbors.

Are the blades fragile?
They are long, thin PVC pieces. Handle the figurine by the bust, never by a chainsaw, and place it on its base as soon as it's unboxed.

How to maintain and display it well?
