The old man no one takes seriously, who strikes first

You first meet him as a smiling old man who asks riddles. This 14 cm figurine shows the other Isaac Netero: the one on guard. His body is low to the ground, legs spread wide, bare feet planted on the floor; his right arm is straight out front, fist clenched, while his left remains pulled in against his chest, ready.

The sculpture is almost entirely a matter of muscle and fabric. The arms and thighs are detailed bundle by bundle, including veins, on a body that is far from an old man's body. The sleeveless white tunic and matching shorts are torn into jagged shreds at the shoulders and thighs, and the black belt tied at the waist leaves two long sections hanging, accompanying the movement.

The first thing you notice, however, is his hair: white, pulled back into a high bun, it opens behind the head into about ten long, curved spikes that radiate like a sun. Beneath this halo, the face is unreadable: thick black eyebrows, mustache and goatee, an unblinking gaze. A black hexagonal base with a gold-speckled surface completes the piece.

Is it to scale with your other Hunter x Hunter figures?
No, and that's intentional: at 14 cm, it's smaller than our 28 cm Gon or our 18 cm Killua. Placed in front of them, it takes the first row without obscuring anything.

Why are his clothes torn?
The sculpt depicts him in the midst of battle: his tunic and shorts are in tatters, revealing his muscles. It's sculpted this way, it's not a defect of the piece.

What difference does it make if it's delivered without a box?
