The Story Behind the Figure

Killua Zoldyck was twelve when he left the family mansion in Kukuroo. Behind him: a lineage of assassins who raised him with electricity and poison until his body no longer reacted. Ahead of him: the Hunter Exam, which he took mainly out of boredom — and where he arrived on his skateboard, much to Leorio's annoyance, while the other candidates ran. It was there that he met Gon Freecss, the first person to wait for him instead of asking him to kill. The jaded kid from the beginning would become one of the fastest fighters in the series, able to turn his own torture into a weapon with Godspeed. This piece captures the earlier Killua: the casual, nonchalant one with his board.
