The story behind the figure
Leorio immediately announced that he was taking the exam for money, and everyone took him for a cynic. The truth came later: a childhood friend died of a perfectly treatable illness, for lack of being able to pay for treatment, and Leorio wants to become the doctor who will refuse no one. He is the only one in the group without exceptional abilities - and the one with the strongest motivation.
