The story behind the figurine

After the shipwreck, all that remained was a reef, two survivors, and enough provisions for only one. Zeff gives the entire bag to Sanji and settles at the other end of the rock, pretending to have his own supplies. He had none. When the child discovers it, it's too late for the chef's leg—and far too early for him to understand why a man would do such a thing. This diorama sculpts the two figures separated by a few centimeters of void, exactly as in the scene.
