Frieren Hanging Scroll – Back view

Frieren is seen from behind, her torso turned to look over her shoulder. Her white cape with gold trim opens at the small of her back, and her staff passes diagonally behind her. The background is a very pale, almost solid pink.

This is the only visual in the set of this type, more suggestive than the others. The drawing remains polished and the palette very soft, but the framing embraces what it shows. We are pointing this out clearly rather than slipping it in between two modest portraits.
