Megumi is crouched, leaning on one hand, ready to pounce. A wave of blue energy originates from his back and sweeps across the entire left half of the scroll, carrying away shards of the ground as it passes. The moon, at the top right, serves as a white counterbalance.

The appeal of this illustration lies in its diagonal: the body, the breath, and the debris all follow the same oblique line, from bottom left to top right.
