Amidst the flash of lightning
Sasuke takes up the top of the scroll, his gaze red, while the bottom fills with a spray of blue lightning that reaches right to the edges. The contrast between the almost-white top and the saturated bottom is striking.
It is the most unbalanced visual of the bunch, and intentionally so: all the weight is at the bottom. Hung high on a wall, the effect is that of a discharge coming down—which only happens with a vertical format.
