Satoru Gojo: everything about Jujutsu Kaisen's strongest sorcerer (powers, Geto, blindfold, death, figures)

Figurine de Satoru Gojo debout, bandeau noir sur les yeux, cheveux blancs relevés, uniforme noir à col montant, mains dans les poches, devant deux sphères lumineuses bleue et violette floues sur une étagère sombre

Satoru Gojo is the most famous character in Jujutsu Kaisen, and probably the most talked-about of his entire shonen generation: a white-haired teacher, a blindfold over his eyes, sweets in his pockets, and a reputation for being "the strongest". Behind the nonchalance there is a precise character, with a date of birth, a clan, two inherited gifts, a lost best friend, students to protect, and an ending in the manga that spilled a great deal of ink. This profile gathers everything you need to know about him: who he is and where he comes from, how the Six Eyes and the Limitless work, explained simply, his history with Suguru Geto, his role as a teacher, why he hides his eyes, what happened in Shibuya, what the manga has in store for him next, which episodes to watch him in, and finally how to choose his figure. The information comes from Gege Akutami's manga, from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and from the anime; the profile is up to date as of 23 September 2026, and the passages that reveal what comes next in the manga are flagged before you read them.

At a glance

  • Satoru Gojo (五条 悟) was born on 7 December 1989. He stands over 190 cm tall, is 28 at the start of the main story, and is a special grade sorcerer, head of the Gojo clan and a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
  • He combines two gifts of his clan that no one had held together for four centuries: the Six Eyes, which see cursed energy, and the Limitless, which stops anything from reaching him.
  • His domain expansion, Unlimited Void, floods the opponent's mind with an infinite amount of information. He can open it several times a day, something no other sorcerer does.

  • In the manga, Gojo comes back, faces Sukuna and dies in chapter 236. The anime is not there yet: season 3 (2026) takes place while he is sealed.
  • The blindfold does not blind him: it rests eyes that see too much. In our store, Gojo appears on 46 items, from figures to wall scrolls.

Who is Satoru Gojo? The identity card

Satoru Gojo is one of the main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen and of its prequel Jujutsu Kaisen 0. In a world where humans' negative emotions give birth to monsters, the cursed spirits, and where a handful of sorcerers fight them, he is the one everyone simply calls "the strongest". He teaches at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where he is in charge of the first-years, and he heads the Gojo clan, one of the three great sorcerer families alongside the Zenin and the Kamo. His first name, Satoru, comes from a verb meaning "to understand" or "to awaken"; his family name contains the number five. He descends from Sugawara no Michizane, one of Japan's three great vengeful spirits, which makes him a distant relative of Yuta Okkotsu. Here are the facts people look up most often about him.

Detail What to remember
Name Satoru Gojo (五条 悟, Gojō Satoru). In English you will see both "Gojo Satoru" and "Satoru Gojo"; the manga puts the family name first.
Date of birth 7 December 1989. Fans celebrate his birthday every year on 7 December.
Age 16-17 in the past arc (2006), 27 in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2017), 28 at the start of the main story (2018), 29 from 7 December 2018.
Height Over 190 cm, one of the tallest characters in the series.
Grade Special grade sorcerer, the highest rank. Regarded as the strongest of his era.
Clan Head of the Gojo clan. The first member in 400 years to possess both the Six Eyes and the Limitless.
Techniques Limitless (Blue, Red, Purple), Six Eyes, reverse cursed technique, domain expansion "Unlimited Void".
Role Teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Students: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and before them Yuta Okkotsu, Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki and Panda.
Voice Yūichi Nakamura in Japanese, Mark Lesser in French.
First appearances Chapter 1 of the manga by voice only, chapter 2 in person; episode 1 of the anime; from the very start of Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Distinguishing features White hair, light-blue eyes, black blindfold, black high-collared outfit, round sunglasses off duty. Loves sweets, hates alcohol, sleeps little.

His personality is a paradox. With his students and colleagues he is playful, teasing, unable to stay serious for more than two lines; with the jujutsu higher-ups he is ice-cold, and he makes no secret of his contempt for them. He knows he is the strongest and says so, which could make him unbearable if the author had not taken care to give him a flaw: he lost his best friend, and he teaches precisely so that the next generation never has to live through the same thing. The series' guidebook adds two details fans love: he started eating sweets to stimulate his brain, before developing a real sweet tooth, and the only thing he hates to eat or drink is alcohol.

The Six Eyes and the Limitless: his powers explained simply

Gojo's strength rests on two hereditary gifts of the Gojo clan, and on the fact that he is the first in four centuries to hold them together. The first is the Six Eyes (Rokugan): they let him see cursed energy with extreme precision, read an opponent's technique at first glance, and spend an almost negligible amount of energy on each spell. They are what gives his eyes their distinctive blue, and also what forces him to wear a blindfold, which we come back to further down. The second is the Limitless (Mukagen Jujutsu), his family's innate technique: it manipulates the space between him and whatever approaches. A fist, a bullet, a blade slow down infinitely before touching him, without ever reaching him. That is why, in the series, nobody lays a hand on Gojo without his permission.

The Six Eyes see cursed energy; the Limitless uses it: Blue pulls, Red pushes, and their collision creates Purple.

From this base come three spells that fans know by their color. Blue (the Lapse) charges the Limitless with negative energy and creates an attraction: everything is pulled toward one point, and Gojo also uses it to move at supersonic speeds. Red (the Reversal) does the opposite thanks to a reverse cursed technique: a repulsion that pushes away whatever he targets. Purple (Hollow Technique) is born from the collision of the two: a mass that erases everything in its path, the most destructive of his attacks, the one he ends his fight against Toji Fushiguro with. Our figure of Gojo unleashing Hollow Purple, 35 cm recreates that moment, and the three colors appear on the red sphere and purple sphere wall scrolls.

Two complements make the whole thing almost unfair. The reverse cursed technique, which Gojo discovers at death's door facing Toji, produces positive energy: he uses it to heal himself and, permanently, to protect his brain from the fatigue the Limitless imposes on him. He cannot heal others with it, only himself. And Black Flash, the blow where cursed energy strikes within a millionth of a second of the fist and multiplies its power, he knows how to land: a single Black Flash from Gojo, straight to the heart, was enough to knock Sukuna out for a few moments. Add high-level hand-to-hand combat and a speed that the Six Eyes make almost impossible to follow, and you have the most complete fighting system ever shown in Jujutsu Kaisen. It is this system, not raw power, that makes him the strongest; it is also what explains how he could be beaten, as we will see.

Domain expansion: Unlimited Void

Domain expansion is the ultimate technique of jujutsu sorcerers: projecting one's inner world into a barrier where one's spells hit without fail. Gojo's is called Unlimited Void (Muryōkūsho, sometimes translated "Infinite Void"). Inside it, the opponent receives an infinite amount of information: they see everything, feel everything, and can no longer process anything. An ordinary human cannot withstand it for more than two tenths of a second without lasting damage; a cursed spirit stays frozen in it, unable to make the slightest move. The anime turned it into one of its most famous images, that backdrop of space and galaxies opening up behind the teacher when he joins his hands, as early as episode 7 of season 1, against the cursed spirit Jogo.

PVC figure of Satoru Gojo in his black blindfold, hands joined in front of his chest in the domain expansion pose, against a deep-space backdrop with a galaxy, stars and blue and purple nebulae
Hands joined, and the room opens onto the cosmos: Unlimited Void, which Gojo can hold for just 0.2 seconds or cast five times in a single fight.

What sets Gojo apart from other domain users is not only the violence of the effect. It is the control: he can open Unlimited Void for barely 0.2 seconds, just long enough to freeze his opponents without harming the humans caught in the middle, and he can open it several times in the same day, five times over the course of the Shinjuku fight alone, when a single expansion exhausts other sorcerers. In Shinjuku, against Sukuna, this mastery becomes the very stake of the fight: two domains crashing into each other, and four "domain battles" that Gojo wins every time. The full course of those clashes is in our Gojo vs Sukuna breakdown, round by round; here, let us just remember that Unlimited Void has an enormous cost in concentration, and that it also saturates the one who opens it. The joined-hands gesture, for its part, has become a figure pose in its own right: our joined-fists wall scroll freezes it across the full height of a wall.

Gojo and Geto: the story of the two strongest

To understand Gojo, you have to go back to 2006 and to the past arc (chapters 65 to 79 of the manga, adapted in the first five episodes of season 2). Satoru is 16, a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High, and he shares his class with Shoko Ieiri and Suguru Geto, the other genius of his generation. The two are inseparable and call themselves "the strongest", in the plural. Their teacher, Masamichi Yaga, gives them a mission: to escort a schoolgirl, Riko Amanai, chosen to merge with Tengen, the living barrier that protects the jujutsu world. Two groups want to kill her before the merger, and a hitman without the slightest trace of cursed energy, Toji Fushiguro, is hired for the contract.

2006: two students who call themselves "the strongest", in the plural. A year later, only one will remain.

What follows is the turning point of Gojo's life. Toji, invisible to Six Eyes that see only cursed energy, runs him through by surprise the moment he lets his guard down, pierces his throat with the Inverted Spear of Heaven, a weapon that nullifies techniques, the Limitless included, leaves him for dead and kills Riko in front of Geto. At death's door, Satoru finally understands the nature of cursed energy, awakens the reverse cursed technique, heals himself and comes back to face Toji, whom he finishes with Purple while speaking the line fans have quoted ever since, the one where he declares himself, throughout heaven and earth, the only one worthy of being honored. That day, he becomes the strongest, in the singular. Geto, for his part, never recovers from seeing non-sorcerers applaud Riko's death. A year later, he slaughters an entire village, kills his parents and disappears: he wants a world without non-sorcerers. Gojo finds him in Shinjuku, listens to him, and cannot bring himself to kill him. It takes Jujutsu Kaisen 0, on the night of 24 December 2017, for the teacher to end his best friend's life after the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons in Shinjuku. His last words to Geto were kept from us by the anime, and by the manga too.

This broken friendship is the key to the whole character: it explains why he teaches, why he despises the elders who trained Geto, and why he gets trapped in Shibuya when he sees his friend's face again. It is no coincidence that fans buy the two together. Our diorama of Gojo and Geto on the throne, 24 cm puts them face to face, the Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru figure, 11 cm keeps them side by side in a compact version, and the back-to-back wall scroll reproduces the season 2 opening pose, that of two students who do not yet know what awaits them.

The teacher: Yuta, Yuji, Megumi and the others

Gojo could do whatever he wants with his life; he chose to teach. His goal is stated in black and white in the manga: to reform a corrupt, ossified jujutsu world, not by destroying it like Geto, but by training a generation of sorcerers strong enough and smart enough to change it, students he hopes will one day become his equals. He goes about it with a method that suits him: few lessons, a lot of fieldwork, rules bent whenever they protect his students, and open threats toward his superiors whenever they want to execute one of them.

Yuji, Megumi, Nobara: the 2018 first-year class, the one Gojo protects from his own superiors.

His first great story as a teacher is Jujutsu Kaisen 0. In 2016, a high-school student, Yuta Okkotsu, is sentenced to death by the higher-ups because he is haunted by Rika, a childhood friend turned overpowering cursed spirit. Gojo refuses to execute him, enrolls him at the school, entrusts him to Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki and Panda, and teaches him to turn his curse around with a katana. When the higher-ups insist, he warns them that he will not hesitate to kill them. Long before, he had already taken under his wing a six-year-old child, Megumi Fushiguro, Toji's son, whom the Zenin clan was about to buy back: Gojo wipes out the debt, secures a grant for him and his sister, and trains him himself. In 2018 comes Yuji Itadori, the boy who swallowed one of Sukuna's fingers. Once again the sentence is execution; once again Gojo obtains a reprieve, arguing that Yuji can gather all the fingers before dying, then hides him and trains him in secret while the world believes him dead. Nobara Kugisaki completes the first-year class.

This teacher is often the favorite of adult readers, because he is the only adult in the series who takes the young people's side against the institution. He is also a lighter Gojo than the fighter, and the figures understood that well: the chibi figure of Gojo sitting, 10 cm and the figure of Gojo on his swing, 17 cm show the teacher who jokes, not the sorcerer who kills, and the faded chibi Gojo t-shirt plays in the same register.

Blindfold, bandages, sunglasses: why Gojo hides his eyes

It is the question everyone asks when discovering the character: why the blindfold? Gojo is not blind. The Six Eyes make him see the cursed energy of everything around him at all times, with a level of detail that exhausts the brain. The blindfold filters that flow; through it, Gojo still perceives cursed energy, and therefore cursed spirits and sorcerers, and he fights without removing it most of the time. When he takes it off, as in the Shibuya subway against Jogo, Hanami and Choso, it means he is stepping up a level. His bare eyes, of an almost luminous blue, have become the most reproduced image of the character, the one on our blue-gaze wall scroll and on the blue sphere iPhone case.

Four PVC figures of Satoru Gojo on a black shelf: the student in black sunglasses, the version with bandaged eyes, the teacher in the black blindfold with hands in pockets, and the Shinjuku outfit with no blindfold, white trousers and a light haori
Opaque sunglasses in 2006, bandages in 2017, black blindfold in 2018, bare face in Shinjuku: what he wears over his eyes dates the figure.

The blindfold changes with the eras, and it is a good way to date a figure. As a student, in 2006, Gojo wears the school's black uniform and opaque sunglasses, his hair a little longer. As a young teacher, in 2017 in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, he covers his eyes with white bandages, a look that has earned him comparisons with Kakashi from Naruto ever since. In 2018, in the main story, it is the black blindfold that holds his hair up, with the black high-collared outfit. Off duty, he switches to round sunglasses, the ones found on our Gojo round tinted glasses and on the wall scroll of Gojo in round glasses. Finally, for his fight against Sukuna, he drops the uniform for an outfit close to Toji's: tight black t-shirt, loose white trousers, knotted belt, light haori and dark scarf. That is the version reproduced by the large collector statues, including our 36 cm Gojo.

A detail collectors love: the manga has shown Satoru's face as a child and as a baby, in a yukata, in flashbacks and in the prequel published in the magazine. Our figure of young Gojo in a yukata, 14 cm comes from there, and it is the only piece in the range where nothing covers his eyes.

Shibuya, 31 October 2018: how the strongest was sealed

The Shibuya Incident is the central arc of Jujutsu Kaisen, and its first act is a trap set for a single man. On Halloween night 2018, curtains fall over the Shibuya district with thousands of civilians locked inside, and a single demand: that Satoru Gojo come. He comes. In the subway, he faces Jogo, Hanami and Choso at once, three high-level cursed spirits and death paintings, in the middle of a crowd of hostages he tries to spare. He removes his blindfold, batters Jogo, exorcises Hanami with a Purple, and opens Unlimited Void for two tenths of a second, the most an ordinary human can take without lasting damage, to freeze everyone at once; it then takes him 299 seconds to eliminate the thousand or so transfigured humans let loose in the crowd. In a few minutes, he exorcises a special grade cursed spirit and demonstrates exactly why his enemies never tried to defeat him in combat.

October 31, 2018, in the Shibuya subway: three high-level opponents, a crowd of hostages, and a blindfold that comes off.

They will not defeat him. As he turns around, he sees Suguru Geto arrive, the friend he killed ten months earlier. In reality it is Kenjaku, a thousand-year-old sorcerer able to switch bodies, who took Geto's by implanting his brain in his remains. One second of hesitation is enough: Gojo is sucked into the Prison Realm, a special grade cursed object that locks its victim outside of time. He is sealed in chapter 91 of the manga, in episode 10 of season 2 of the anime. The strongest disappears, and the whole rest of the story, the Culling Game included, unfolds without him, his students looking for a way to free him while Kenjaku sets Japan ablaze. It is Gege Akutami's stroke of genius: removing from the board the piece that made every fight a foregone conclusion, and forcing every other character to grow.

The return, the duel and the death of Gojo (later in the manga)

This section reveals events the anime has not adapted yet. If you only follow the animated series, skip to the next section.

Gojo is freed in chapter 221, at the very end of the Culling Game arc, thanks to Hana Kurusu and the power of the angel she hosts, the only one able to nullify a cursed object. He comes out of the Prison Realm intact, and he sets the appointment himself: on 24 December 2018, in Shinjuku, he will face Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, now installed in the body of his own student, Megumi Fushiguro. The fight stretches from chapter 223 to chapter 236. Gojo dominates most of the confrontation, wins the domain battle four times and wounds Sukuna as no one had in a thousand years. And he dies in chapter 236, published in autumn 2023, cut down by an attack born of the adaptation of Mahoraga, Megumi's shikigami, and designed to bypass the Limitless rather than pierce it. The why and the how, technique by technique, are the subject of our Gojo vs Sukuna breakdown, which delivers its verdict on the question fans have been asking ever since.

The chapter of his death is one of the most discussed in recent shonen history, less for the fight than for the scene that goes with it: in a place that looks like an airport, Satoru meets Geto, Nanami, Haibara and Riko again, and talks one last time with his friend. He says he gave everything he had there and is satisfied with it; his only regret is that Geto was not there, at the end, to slap him on the back. The manga then continues up to chapter 271 without bringing him back to life: his body briefly reappears, reused in a desperate plan by the sorcerers against Sukuna, but Gojo himself stays dead, and the series ends with his students, Yuji first among them, finishing what he had started. Our Sukuna versus Gojo wall scroll and the chibi Gojo and Sukuna figure bring the two opponents together for those who want to keep the duel on their shelf.

To pick up the manga after season 3, our ranking of the best anime of 2026, which puts this season at the top, gives the exact chapter where episode 12 stops. Gojo's fight against Sukuna, for its part, exists only in the manga for now; if you want to know why Jujutsu Kaisen is the benchmark for animated fights of its generation, our ranking of the best action anime gives it second place.

Why is Gojo so popular?

In the popularity polls run by the magazine that publishes the manga, Gojo came third in the first vote, with nearly 17,000 votes, second in the second, third in the third, then first in the fourth, with over 113,000 votes, even though he spends a large part of the story sealed. On Google, "gojo" is by far the most searched Jujutsu Kaisen character name, ahead of Sukuna and very far ahead of the series' hero, Yuji; on social media, he is one of the most drawn and most memed characters of his generation. Several reasons add up. The design, first: an instantly recognizable silhouette, white and black, with an accessory, the blindfold, that works like a mask and makes the moment it comes off all the stronger. The role, next: the all-powerful mentor is an archetype shonen readers adore, from Kakashi to Rengoku, and Gojo is its most unapologetic version, the one who says out loud that he is the strongest. The humor, finally, which constantly breaks the superhuman image: the teacher who brings cakes to his students, mocks his superiors and falls asleep in meetings is the same man who freezes a thousand people with one gesture.

There is also what the manga did with him. By sealing him a third of the way through the story and then having him die against Sukuna, Gege Akutami turned a beloved character into a tragic one, and tragedies get collected. Chapter 236 was one of the most talked-about manga events of 2023 worldwide. Since then, every anime season has revived demand: season 2 made "Gojo and Geto" one of the most searched duos, season 3 put the seal and the question of his return back at the center of discussions, and the next ones, those that will adapt Shinjuku, will turn his death into a television event. For a figure store, this translates very concretely: Gojo is the Jujutsu Kaisen character we have the most pieces for, and the one fans hesitate longest over between several versions.

Gojo figures and merchandise: how to choose

The Gojo range in our Jujutsu Kaisen universe counts 46 items as we write: figures, wall scrolls, iPhone cases, t-shirts and even his glasses. Three questions are enough to choose. Which Gojo? The blindfolded teacher, the student in opaque sunglasses facing Geto, or the Shinjuku fighter in a haori. Which scene? A figure that recreates a precise moment, Purple being cast, Unlimited Void, the reunion with Geto, tells a story; a generic pose is just looked at. Which size? Chibis of 10 to 11 cm for a desk, 17 to 24 cm for a shelf, 33 to 36 cm for a centerpiece.

LED-lit glass cabinet with three PVC figures of Satoru Gojo in increasing sizes: a chibi sitting cross-legged, a medium figure standing with hands in pockets and a large statue in a dynamic pose, one arm extended, black blindfold on all three
Chibi for the desk, 17 cm for the shelf, 33 cm for the corner piece: the size is chosen by the spot, not by the craving.

For a first figure, the victorious Gojo Satoru, 33 cm is the safe bet: the blindfolded teacher, standing, in the pose everyone recognizes, at a size that still fits on a living-room shelf. For a scene, the 35 cm Purple and the 24 cm diorama with Geto are the two most requested pieces in the range. For a gift you cannot get wrong, the chibis and the 11 cm duo, where you pick Gojo or Geto in chibi form, stay within small budgets. And for collectors, the Gojo Satoru GK premium statue, produced in a small run, is the centerpiece of a display cabinet, to be chosen for a precise spot and protected behind glass.

The wall and everyday life are not forgotten. Our Jujutsu Kaisen wall scrolls feature Gojo in some twenty designs, from close-ups on the blue eye to the colored spheres, and the Jujutsu Kaisen iPhone cases pick up his best-known gestures, the outstretched hand first of all. One rule for everything made of PVC: no direct sunlight, which yellows the white of his hair and of his Shinjuku outfit, and a closed cabinet above a certain value. Our guide to displaying and caring for figures covers lighting and heights; and if the figure is meant for someone else, our manga gift guide reminds you that a Jujutsu Kaisen fan is often "team Gojo" or "team Sukuna", rarely both.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Satoru Gojo is a special grade sorcerer, head of the Gojo clan and a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High, where he trains Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. He is regarded as the strongest sorcerer of his era thanks to the Six Eyes and the Limitless, two hereditary gifts he is the first to combine in four centuries.

How old is Gojo?

Gojo is 28 at the start of the main story, in 2018, and turns 29 on 7 December 2018, during the manga's final arcs. He was 16-17 in the past arc (2006) and 27 in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2017). He was born on 7 December 1989.

When is Gojo's birthday?

7 December. Gojo was born on 7 December 1989, and fans celebrate his birthday every year on that date, with a wave of drawings and posts about him.

How tall is Gojo?

Gojo is over 190 cm tall, which makes him one of the tallest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. His long, slim silhouette, with white hair held up by the blindfold, is one of the reasons he is recognizable in a second.

Why does Gojo wear a blindfold over his eyes?

Because his Six Eyes see cursed energy at all times with a level of detail that exhausts the brain. The blindfold filters that flow of information. Gojo is not blind: he perceives cursed energy through the blindfold and fights most of the time without removing it. He takes it off when he wants to give his full measure, as in the Shibuya subway.

What are Gojo's Six Eyes?

The Six Eyes (Rokugan) are a rare gift of the Gojo clan that allows one to see cursed energy with extreme precision and to spend almost none of it. They are essential to using the Limitless to its full potential. Gojo is the first in 400 years to possess both at once.

What is Gojo's technique?

The Limitless, the Gojo clan's innate technique, which manipulates space so that nothing reaches him. He draws three spells from it: Blue (attraction), Red (repulsion) and Purple (a mass that erases everything in its path). His domain expansion is called Unlimited Void.

Were Gojo and Geto friends?

Yes, and it is the heart of the character. Classmates at Tokyo Jujutsu High in 2006, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto saw themselves as the two strongest. After Riko Amanai's death, Geto chose to exterminate non-sorcerers; Gojo could not kill him then, and did so a year later in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Gojo says of him that he remained his one and only best friend.

How was Gojo sealed?

In Shibuya, on 31 October 2018, after defeating Jogo, Hanami and Choso, Gojo sees Suguru Geto's face appear. It is in fact Kenjaku, who occupies his friend's body. The moment of hesitation is enough: Gojo is locked inside the Prison Realm, a special grade cursed object, in chapter 91 of the manga and in season 2 of the anime.

Is Gojo dead in Jujutsu Kaisen?

In the manga, yes. Freed in chapter 221, he faces Sukuna in Shinjuku on 24 December 2018 and dies in chapter 236, published in autumn 2023. His body briefly reappears later, but the character does not come back to life, and the manga ends in chapter 271 without him. In the anime, these events have not been adapted yet.

Which episodes is Gojo in?

All of season 1 (2020-2021), notably episode 7 where he opens Unlimited Void against Jogo; the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021, in France on 16 March 2022), where he is Yuta's teacher; the first five episodes of season 2 (2023) for his youth with Geto, then the Shibuya Incident up to his sealing. In season 3 (2026), he is sealed and appears only in memories.

Does Gojo come back in season 3?

No. The first part of season 3, broadcast from 8 January to 26 March 2026, adapts the Culling Game arc, during which Gojo is still locked inside the Prison Realm. His release and his fight against Sukuna belong to the later part of the manga, whose adaptation has no announced date yet.

What is the Gojo clan?

One of Japan's three great sorcerer families, alongside the Zenin and the Kamo. The Gojo clan passes down the Limitless and, more rarely, the Six Eyes; it descends from Sugawara no Michizane, one of Japan's three great vengeful spirits. Satoru is its head, and the birth of a child combining both gifts upset the balance between sorcerers and cursed spirits.

Who voices Gojo?

Yūichi Nakamura voices Gojo in Japanese, with Mariya Ise as his child self. In French, Gojo is voiced by Mark Lesser, in the series as well as in the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

Which Gojo figure should I choose?

For a first figure, a version of the blindfolded teacher around 30 cm, the pose everyone recognizes. For a scene, Purple being cast or the duo with Geto. For a small budget or a desk, a 10 to 11 cm chibi. For a collector, a large statue from a small run, to be kept in a display cabinet. Our Jujutsu Kaisen range counts 46 items in his likeness.
