The story behind the design

This case belongs to a series of nine dedicated to Goku's transformations. The same tight framing on the face, the same layout — only the form and its color change. Placed side by side, the nine tell a story of forty years of the series.

Only one case in the series shows Goku without any transformation — black hair, a calm smile, and an orange outfit. And it's the only one to bear the logo of the very first Dragon Ball, before the power levels.
