The story behind the design

In One Piece, a wanted poster isn't a threat: it's a trophy. The higher the bounty, the more the pirate counts. Placing the character in front of his own is a summary of the series' entire logic in a single image—and that's exactly what this illustration does.

Is the bounty amount legible?

What is the difference with your "torn paper" case?
Both use wanted posters, but in different ways. Torn paper turns it into a whole wall, torn in the middle. Here, the poster is just a background, and the character occupies the frame.
