The story behind the design

Ace is the character everyone mentions when talking about One Piece outside of Luffy. The Flare-Flare Fruit, the hat with two medallions, the tattoo on his back, and that way of fighting shirtless as if armor were a concept that had never crossed his mind.

The illustration captures the most recognizable pose in his repertoire: the flaming fist pulled back, just before the strike. The cracked stone floor and the tongues of fire rising from the gaps add what is missing from most visuals of this type—a setting. We aren't looking at a character cut out against a background of flames; we are on ground that is burning.

The choice of the black border is not trivial either: it frames the orange and makes it pop, whereas a transparent border would have diluted it. This is what makes the case legible from across the room.

What is the difference compared to your other cases?
This one is more rigid: a polycarbonate back combined with a flexible TPU border, whereas our frosted cases are entirely flexible. It holds its shape better and is more scratch-resistant, though it is slightly harder to remove.

Does the design fade over time?
The print is protected by the matte finish. As with any printed case, avoid solvents and abrasive products for cleaning—a slightly damp cloth is sufficient.
