The lucky cat series pays him the funniest tribute possible: representing him just as he is, paw placed on his golden plaque 村田, looking diligent. In a lineup of feline Hashira, he’s the one you notice first — precisely because he has nothing to make him stand out.

Who is Murata?
An unranked slayer who appeared at Mount Natagumo alongside Tanjiro and the Water Hashira: no spectacular breathing style, no signature haori — just a diligent survivor who, through his very ordinariness, became one of the fandom's favorite characters.
What does the golden plaque mean?
It bears 村田, "Murata," in kanji — just like the other cats in the series display for Rengoku or Kamado. He, too, is entitled to have his name engraved.
