The story behind the figure
Giyu's haori is not combat attire; it's a memento: one half belongs to him, the other comes from his childhood friend who died so that he could live. The fact that he keeps it on his shoulders even in a summer outfit speaks volumes about a character unable to articulate anything aloud. It is the most accurate detail of this sculpture.
