The story behind the figure
Giyu Tomioka comes across as cold and aloof; he especially considers himself unworthy of his rank since the death of his friend Sabito. Yet it was his hesitation on that first night that spared Nezuko and sent Tanjiro to his former master. His eleventh form, Dead Calm, consists of not moving at all: the water becomes so still that no attack can pass through it.

What is the difference from the Water Breathing Giyu chibi?
The effect. This one adds a translucent blue water dragon coiled around the character; the Water Breathing Giyu chibi remains on a white wave base, which is more understated. Two distinct molds, same character.
What does the water dragon represent?
The tenth form of Water Breathing, "Constant Flux," where Giyu wraps a torrent around his blade. The translucent rendering of the piece aims to recreate this effect of moving water.

The Giyu Tomioka figure is molded in painted PVC, the standard material for collectible figures: lightweight, durable, and faithful to the anime's colors.
