The story behind the figure
The Final Selection is held on Mount Fujikasane, a mountain covered in wisteria that demons cannot cross. Candidates are left there for seven nights; most do not return. Tanjiro ascends after two years of training with Urokodaki, and he descends with the scar, a fox mask, and the certainty that Nezuko can be saved.

The entrance exam for the Demon Slayer Corps: seven nights locked on a mountain covered in wisteria, with demons kept inside. Out of about twenty candidates, four make it out. The messenger crow is given to the survivors.
