The smile that makes you uneasy
She runs, she laughs, she holds a knife. Himiko Toga is captured in mid-run, torso leaning forward, blade in hand, mouth wide open in that smile that makes the character as disturbing as she is endearing.
Around her, black and gray swirling elements molded in volume create movement and serve as support for the assembly. Her outfit is her repurposed black school dress, with her blonde hair tied in buns and stray strands. The whole rests on a transparent base that disappears beneath the piece.
