The story behind the figure

Ken Kaneki begins the story as a shy, book-loving student and ends it as something no one can name anymore. In between, an organ transplant he didn't ask for and a torture session that turns his hair white. His Rinkaku-type kagune — these tentacle-like appendages — is the most visible manifestation of what he has become: a power that literally springs from his back, without him ever wanting it. This piece freezes the moment when the body takes over the man.

What is a kagune?
The combat organ unique to ghouls, which comes out of their back. Kaneki's is a Rinkaku type: flexible, tentacle-like appendages known for their brute strength and regenerative capacity.

Is the kagune fragile?
