No character on this one: the series title, brush-stroked in very large red characters, from top to bottom of the scroll. The black is total, the red is dull, almost dried blood, and the strokes retain the trace of the brush hair.

It's the only purely typographic visual of the lot, and the most decorative. Two colors, one writing, nothing else: it can be read from one end of a room to the other and matches any furniture. On a light wall, the black mass cuts out a very clean rectangle; on a dark wall, only the red remains and the effect becomes even more mysterious.
