The light fur draped over the shoulders leaves no doubt. It occupies the entire left side of the scroll, painted with broad strokes, with strands overflowing onto the haori and blurring the silhouette. The kanji, however, remains clear in the center of the back.

This is the most textured visual in the series: everywhere else the surfaces are smooth, here the fur brings a texture that makes you want to look closely. The contrast between this light fur and the black background is very pronounced, making the scroll legible even in a poorly lit room. The composition itself is frankly off-center: the fur pulls to the left, the kanji catches up in the center, and the whole thing balances on this asymmetry.
