Two butterfly wings stand upright in her hair, like a headdress, and a purple haori that extends to the bottom of the scroll. She is seen from behind, her head slightly tilted, in a non-combative posture.

The purple color is what distinguishes this visual from all the others in the lot, which are in browns and blacks. It occupies the lower half of the image and gives the scroll a dominant color that is rare in the series. The wings, meanwhile, are painted in off-white with fine veins — a detailed work that rewards the large format and is somewhat lost in the 25 × 75 cm size.
