The yellow and red of the hair fill the left third of the scroll, and the amber eye in the center literally burns — the iris is painted like a flame, with an orange gradient and a white highlight in the middle.

Of the nine portraits, this is the warmest and most contrasted. It cannot be viewed absentmindedly: placed on a wall, it immediately becomes the focal point of the room.
