Sukuna, rubble and red threads

Sukuna is crouched on a pile of rubble, one hand on the ground, with red filaments extending in all directions—upward, to the sides, and right out of the frame. These threads give the image its energy: without them, it would be a static pose; with them, everything seems to be tearing apart.

The palette blends the pink of the skin, the red of the filaments, and the cold gray of the debris. It is a very dense illustration, where every centimeter holds something. It requires a bit of distance to be appreciated, making it better suited for a wall facing a bed or sofa than a narrow hallway where you walk by without stopping.
