The story behind the design

Appearing in Battle of Gods, Beerus changed the scale of Dragon Ball: against him, even a Super Saiyan 3 weighs nothing. The design retains this paradox that makes up the whole character — a nonchalant feline silhouette, capable of erasing a planet between two naps.

The palette is monochrome purple, from the lilac of the skin to the aubergine shadows of the background, with the golds of the necklace and bracelets as the only accents. The matching photo ring extends the illustration — the whole is consistent down to the camera block.
