The most famous checkered pattern in manga, tailored for a cat
If only one motif were needed to summarize Demon Slayer, it would be its green and black checkerboard. Here it is draped on a maneki-neko: a dark cat with perked-up ears, dressed in Tanjiro Kamado's checkered haori, with his hanafuda earrings replicated in miniature on each side of the head.
The forehead even bears the hero's scar, and the paw rests on a gold plate engraved with 竈門 — "Kamado," his family name. The ideal guardian for a shelf, a desk, or a family bakery counter.

What does the gold plate mean?
It is engraved with 竈門, "Kamado" — the family name of Tanjiro and Nezuko, presented as the coin of a Japanese lucky cat.
