The colossus of the Corps, reduced to the size of a prayer
Gyomei Himejima is the most imposing man in the Demon Slayer Corps — transforming him into a little lucky cat was a bold move. Yet, the feline retains everything of the Stone Hashira: the furrowed brows of an eternal worrier, the red bead rosary around his neck, and the green haori whose shoulders bear the calligraphy 南無阿弥陀仏, the Buddhist prayer he recites in battle.
Under its paw, the golden plaque 悲鳴嶼 — Himejima in kanji. It is the most solemn of the six cats in the series, and paradoxically the most endearing: all the character's devotion, in four inches of feline roundness.

What do the inscriptions mean?
The golden plaque bears 悲鳴嶼 ("Himejima," his family name) and the haori shoulders the Buddhist prayer 南無阿弥陀仏 that he chants — the two written signatures of the character.
