Six eyes, and a blade that was not forged
This is the detail you notice before everything else: six eyes, three on each side of the face, yellow with red streaks, all wide open. Kokushibo is Upper Rank One, and this 24 cm figurine captures him at the moment he draws his blade.
His long black hair is pulled back into a high ponytail and falls in thick strands that almost double the width of the piece. The purple haori with dark patterns floats on his shoulders, the white belt is tied in several loops, and the black hakama swirls around his legs in a rotational movement that gives the sculpt all of its energy.
As for the blade, it is nothing like an ordinary katana: flesh-colored, veined, bristling with spikes and eyes, it is extended by a halo of translucent purple teeth that follows the trajectory of the sword. The second sword remains at his belt, with its red hilt visible. Two white tabi and sandals complete the silhouette. A piece that begs to be viewed from a three-quarter angle, not head-on.
