The story behind the figure

Shinobu Kochō is the only slayer incapable of decapitating a demon: she lacks the strength. She therefore transformed her sword into a needle and her body into a laboratory, distilling enough wisteria to kill with poison what she cannot slice. Behind the permanent smile she displays—inherited from her sister Kanae, who was murdered by an Upper Rank demon—there is nothing but carefully controlled rage. Her death is a reflection of this: she allowed herself to be devoured, filled with poison, to kill Doma from within.
