The story behind the figure

The Baratie follows a simple rule: never refuse food to someone who is hungry. That is the law of Zeff, a former pirate turned chef who sacrificed his leg to keep a kid stranded with him on a rock alive.

That kid is Sanji. He spent years in the kitchen being shouted at by the old man before Luffy showed up, broke everything, became a dishwasher against his will, and then took the cook with him. The dining room also saw the arrival of Don Krieg—and the most modest farewell in the series, where no one said "thank you" out loud.
