The story behind the figure

When the Vogue Merry breathes its last at Water Seven, the crew is left without a home. It is Franky who rebuilds it, using the Adam wood he had been keeping for years—the strongest material in the world, paid for with all his treasure. The ship that emerges is no longer a simple East Blue coaster: a lion figurehead, an energy cannon in its mouth, and five launch docks hidden in the hull.

The name comes from Iceburg: "may it sail a thousand sunny seas." Since then, the Sunny has traversed Thriller Bark, the Summit War, Fish-Man Island, and Wano. Like the Merry before it, the crew considers it less of a ship and more of a crew member.
