The Story Behind the Blade

Kikoku is no ordinary blade: it is a cursed nodachi, ranked among the 21 Great Grade Swords, and it is almost never used to cut flesh. In Trafalgar Law's hands, it cuts space: within a ROOM, anything it passes through is separated without a drop of blood, limbs included, reassemblable at will. Law carries it casually over his shoulder, never at his hip — a surgeon's nonchalance who knows his weapon only kills if he decides it to.
