The story behind the blade

Mitsuri Kanroji has muscle strength eight times greater than normal and a unique muscle density that no standard blade could suit her. So, the blacksmiths forged a extremely thin Nichirin for her, flexible enough to whip like a… well, a whip — a weapon that no one else could wield without injuring themselves. Behind the easy tears and legendary appetite, there is a woman who long believed that her strength made her unlovable, and who joined the Demon Slayers to find someone stronger than her.

Why is Mitsuri Kanroji's blade so thin?
Mitsuri Kanroji possesses an abnormal muscle density, eight times greater than average. Her Nichirin blade was specially forged thin and flexible so that she could wield it like a whip: no one else among the Hashira could use it.

Is this katana replica sharp?
No. The blade is made of soft PU foam and is not sharpened: it bends under pressure instead of cutting. This makes it safe to use at conventions and for photo shoots.

Is the display stand included?
No: the black wooden stand visible in the staged photos is only used to show the blade horizontally. It is not supplied. Our katana stands and displays are sold separately.

Is it delivered in a box?
No: shipped in a protective bag, without a publisher box, over-packaged by us. Please expect a long package.

From what age?
