Katen Kyokotsu, the captain's two blades
Here is Shunsui Kyoraku's pair of swords, Katen Kyokotsu, as a 22 cm miniature made of zinc alloy: two curved black blades with a falchion profile, featuring a hook near the guard, blue and yellow braided handles, rectangular bronze guards, and red ribbons tied to the pommel. A decorative replica: the blade is not sharpened and does not cut.

The story behind the blade
Captain of the Eighth Division and later Captain-Commander, Shunsui Kyoraku is the only Shinigami to wield a zanpakutō with two blades. Katen Kyokotsu does not fight like the others: it imposes children's games with rules that kill anyone who breaks them. Behind the straw hat and the floral kimono, he is one of the most dangerous fighters in the Gotei 13.
