The Story Behind the Blade

Tengen Uzui repeatedly boasts about being flamboyant. While true, it's also a facade: born into a shinobi clan that sacrificed six of its nine children to training, he fled that logic to never again treat a life as a tool. His two cleavers connected by a chain are unlike any other weapon in the series, and his Sound Breathing turns combat into a musical score. In Yoshiwara, he loses a hand and an eye — and never looked more flamboyant than when returning home.

How many swords do I receive?
Two. Tengen Uzui fights with two twin cleavers, and this set includes both, each 80 cm long. He is the only Hashira in Demon Slayer to wield two Nichirin blades simultaneously.

Are the two blades connected by a chain?
No. In the anime, Tengen Uzui connects his two swords with a chain; this set provides the two blades alone, without a connecting chain.

Is this katana replica sharp?
No. The blade is made of soft PU foam and is not sharpened: it bends under pressure instead of cutting. This makes it safe for use at conventions and photo shoots.

Is the display stand included?
No: the black wooden stand shown in the situational photos is only used to display the blade horizontally. It is not included. Our katana stands and displays are sold separately.

Does it come in a box?
No: shipped in a protective bag, without an editor's box, over-packed by us. Expect a long package.

What is the recommended age?
We recommend it for ages 14 and up. The blade is foam and not sharp, but the item is still bulky and intended for collection and cosplay rather than play.
