The Crews of One Piece: the Straw Hats Member by Member and Every Great Pirate Crew (2026 Guide)

In One Piece, nobody sails alone: everything is played out as a crew. A captain, a flag, a ship, bounties, and a handful of companions ready to die for one another: that is the basic unit of the series, the one that explains why Luffy spends the first volumes recruiting rather than hunting for the treasure. This guide gathers everything there is to know about the crews of One Piece: the ten members of the Straw Hat crew with their role, their arrival, their bounty and their dream; the Grand Fleet that rallied behind Luffy; the legendary crews of Roger and Rocks; those of the Emperors, Whitebeard, Shanks, Blackbeard, Kaido and Big Mom; the Cross Guild; the Worst Generation, from Law to Kid; the crews people forget, from the Sun Pirates to the Kuja; our ranking of the strongest; the ships and the flags; and finally how to assemble a crew in figures. The information comes from Eiichiro Oda's manga, the anime and the SBS; the guide is up to date as of September 24, 2026, through the Elbaf arc, and the passages that reveal recent chapters are flagged.

At a glance

  • The Straw Hat Pirates (the Mugiwara) number ten members, Luffy included, recruited from chapter 6 to chapter 976: Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbe. Their combined bounties reach 8,816,001,000 berries.
  • Since Dressrosa, seven crews have sworn loyalty to Luffy: the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, about 5,600 men he never asked for.
  • Two crews have shaped history: the Rocks Pirates, where Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaido sailed together, and the crew of Gol D. Roger, the only one to have reached Laugh Tale.
  • The Emperors' crews are counted in billions: Shanks's Red-Haired Pirates, Blackbeard's crew, those of Kaido and Big Mom before their fall in Wano, and the Cross Guild of Buggy, Mihawk and Crocodile.
  • The manga has already wiped several crews off the map: Whitebeard's after Marineford, the Beasts Pirates and Big Mom at Onigashima, Kid against Shanks at Elbaf, and Law's Heart Pirates against Blackbeard.
  • In our store, a crew is collected piece by piece: the ten Straw Hats as figures, the rival captains, and ten ships, from the Going Merry to the Moby Dick.

What is a crew in One Piece?

A pirate crew, in One Piece, is first of all a captain and his flag, the Jolly Roger, which identifies the ship from afar and amounts to a declaration of war on the World Government. Around the captain, posts inherited from the age of sail: a first mate, a navigator, a cook, a doctor, a shipwright, a sniper, a musician, a helmsman, and fighters. Eiichiro Oda turned these posts into a narrative device: every member of Luffy's crew was recruited for a precise role, and every role matches a dream. A crew also has a home, the ship, and a value, the total bounty of its members, which the Government updates after every exploit and which the series uses as a barometer of power.

There are crews of ten members and crews of several thousand men. The great crews, those of the Emperors, are organizations: a core of commanders around the captain, divisions or allied fleets, and sometimes whole islands under their protection. The series also distinguishes temporary alliances, like the one between Luffy and Law, from sworn fleets, like the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Finally, a crew rarely dies with its captain: Roger's disbanded, Whitebeard's collapsed, Kaido's and Big Mom's were dismantled in Wano. That history, crew by crew, is what this guide tells.

The Straw Hat Pirates: the ten members, one by one

The Straw Hat Pirates, Mugiwara no Ichimi in Japanese, appear as a crew in chapter 5 of the manga and episode 3 of the anime, the day Zoro agrees to follow Luffy. They first sail on the Going Merry, from chapter 41 to chapter 430, then on the Thousand Sunny, built by Franky at Water Seven. The crew now has ten members, each with a post, a dream and a bounty. Since the fall of Kaido and Big Mom, Luffy has been recognized as one of the Emperors, and the newspapers refer to his nine companions as his "commanders".

Roronoa Zoro Swordsman, fighter Shells Town, chapter 6 / episode 3 1,111,000,000 To become the greatest swordsman in the world
Nami Navigator Arlong Park, chapter 94 / episode 45 366,000,000 To draw a map of the whole world
Usopp Sniper Syrup Village, chapter 41 / episode 17 500,000,000 To become a brave warrior of the sea

Tony Tony Chopper Doctor Drum Island, chapter 153 / episode 91 1,000 To become a doctor who can cure anything
Nico Robin Archaeologist Alabasta, chapter 218 / episode 130 930,000,000 To read the Rio Poneglyph and the history of the Void Century
Franky Shipwright Water Seven, chapter 437 / episode 322 394,000,000 To see his ship sail around the world
Brook Musician Thriller Bark, chapter 489 / episode 381 383,000,000 To meet the whale Laboon again
Jinbe Helmsman Wano, chapter 976 / episode 980 1,100,000,000 Coexistence between humans and fish-men

Three things stand out in this table. Chopper's bounty, one thousand berries, because the Navy takes him for a pet: it is the longest-running gag in the series, going since Enies Lobby, where his poster was worth fifty berries. The top trio, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, whom readers call the "Monster Trio", which concentrates most of the fighting power and more than half of the bounties. And the gap between posts and dreams: Oda gave each member a personal dream that has nothing to do with the treasure, and that is what holds the crew together. Nefertari Vivi, the princess of Alabasta, sailed with them from Reverse Mountain to her kingdom without ever being a full member; fans consider her the eleventh person aboard, and the manga keeps the idea alive. For the story of each bounty, poster by poster, our complete ranking of One Piece bounties goes through the ten posters in order; here, let us keep the total, 8,816,001,000 berries, one of the highest in the world for such a small crew.

Every member exists as a figure in our store, which makes it possible to rebuild the crew on a shelf: Luffy Gear 5, 20 cm, Zoro in Three Sword Style, 20 cm, Nami, 30 cm, Usopp King of Snipers, 25 cm, Sanji Diable Jambe, 30 cm, Chopper in his pink hat, 20 cm, Nico Robin, 27 cm, Franky, 32 cm, Brook Soul King, 33 cm and Jinbe large format, 32 cm. The Assembling a crew in figures section explains how to match their sizes.

The order of recruitment and the eleventh member

Luffy announces as early as chapter 1 that he needs "at least ten companions". Recruitment follows the order of the voyage: Zoro, freed from his post at Shells Town; Nami, who first robs the crew before joining for good after Arlong's fall; Usopp, who brings the Going Merry; Sanji, torn away from the Baratie and from Zeff; Chopper, the reindeer doctor of Drum; Robin, the enemy who invites herself aboard at the end of Alabasta; Franky, the shipwright of Water Seven, taken aboard almost by force; Brook, the skeleton musician of Thriller Bark; and Jinbe, who promises to join the crew at Whole Cake Island and keeps his word in Wano, after settling his accounts with Big Mom. Between Brook and Jinbe there are more than four hundred chapters: the tenth member is the one fans waited for the longest.

The question of the eleventh member has kept forums busy for years. Luffy counted ten companions besides himself, which would leave one seat open. Three names keep coming back: Vivi, who has already sailed with the crew and whom the manga brought back to the fore at Egghead; Yamato, Kaido's daughter, who chose to stay in Wano for now; and Carrot, the mink from Zou. As of September 24, 2026, Oda has settled it neither in the manga nor in the SBS. What is certain is that the crew has never lost a member: the only split, Usopp after the Going Merry dispute, ended with apologies and a return. Our farewell to the Going Merry diorama captures the scene that closes that crisis, the only time the crew buried one of its own: its first ship.

The Straw Hat Grand Fleet

At the end of Dressrosa, in chapter 800 and episode 745, seven captains offer to become Luffy's subordinates. He refuses any title, they swear loyalty anyway, and the press coins the name: the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, about 5,600 men spread across seven crews. Cavendish and his Beautiful Pirates, Bartolomeo and the Barto Club, Sai and the Happo Navy, Ideo and his boxing pirates, Leo and the Tontatta Army, Hajrudin and the New Giant Warrior Pirates, Orlumbus and the Yonta Maria Grand Fleet. It is the first time a rookie finds himself at the head of an armada without wanting it, and Oda has fun with it: Luffy does not command the fleet, it follows him.

Dressrosa, chapter 800: seven captains swear loyalty to a Luffy who did not want them. The Grand Fleet is born.

The Grand Fleet has seen little combat so far, but it changes how the bounties read: its captains add up to several billion, and the newspapers now call Luffy a "grand captain" and his nine companions "grand officers". It also explains why Luffy's recognition as an Emperor, after Wano, surprised nobody in the world of One Piece: a man followed by five thousand pirates is no longer a rookie. Our figure of the three captains, Luffy, Kid and Law brings together the three Sabaody rookies who set sail together for Onigashima, the most famous alliance in the series.

The Roger Pirates: the ones who reached Laugh Tale

The Roger Pirates are the only crew in history to have reached Laugh Tale, the island where the One Piece lies. Their captain, Gol D. Roger, carries the largest bounty ever issued, 5,564,800,000 berries; his first mate, Silvers Rayleigh, the Dark King, would train Luffy twenty years later; and their deck saw two apprentices who would become Emperors, Shanks and Buggy, as well as Scopper Gaban, the doctor Crocus and, for the length of one voyage, Kozuki Oden and his wife Toki. The ship was called the Oro Jackson, built by Tom, the shipwright who would train Franky. Roger ended his road at Loguetown, on the scaffold, launching the Great Pirate Era with a sentence about his treasure.

Roger and Rayleigh at the bow of the Oro Jackson: the only crew to have seen Laugh Tale, with two apprentices aboard who became Emperors.

What makes the Roger Pirates unique is that they disbanded of their own will once the goal was reached, and that the manga tells their story in fragments: in Oden's memories in Wano, in Rayleigh's, and more recently at Elbaf, where Scopper Gaban trains Zoro. Roger never sought to become an Emperor or to rule: he wanted to see the end of the world, and he saw it. Our figure of the Oro Jackson, Roger's ship and our Silvers Rayleigh figure, 31 cm, keep the trace of this vanished crew; our feature on the God Valley film tells the story of its greatest battle.

The Rocks Pirates: the most dangerous crew in history

Before Roger, there was Rocks. The crew of Rocks D. Xebec, revealed in chapter 957, gathered some forty years ago pirates who would each become a legend: Edward Newgate, the future Whitebeard; Charlotte Linlin, the future Big Mom; Kaido, then a mere apprentice; Shiki the Golden Lion; Captain John; Silver Axe; Ochoku; and Gloriosa, the former empress of the Kuja. A crew of monsters who hated one another, held together by a captain who wanted to become king of the world. It took an improbable alliance, Gol D. Roger and Vice Admiral Garp, to bring them down at God Valley, an event the Government erased from the maps and from history.

The fall of Rocks drew the map of the One Piece world: three of its members became Emperors, and their rivalry structured the New World for forty years. For a long time the manga showed only silhouettes; the Elbaf arc and the God Valley film have begun to fill in the blanks, and the name Xebec comes back in Blackbeard's mouth, who named his ship the Saber of Xebec. Our Xebec versus Roger and Garp iPhone case shows the battle of God Valley as the film staged it.

The Whitebeard Pirates

The Whitebeard Pirates were, for twenty years, the most powerful crew in the world. Their captain, Edward Newgate, the strongest man in the world and the only one to have rivaled Roger, ruled over a family: sixteen divisions, each led by a commander, Marco the Phoenix first, then Portgas D. Ace at the second, Jozu, Thatch, Vista, Izo and the others, and dozens of allied crews. Whitebeard called his men his sons, and it was for one of them, Ace, that he sent his ship, the Moby Dick, against Navy Headquarters at Marineford. He died there on his feet, without a single wound on his back, after declaring that the One Piece exists.

Whitebeard, Marco and Ace on the Moby Dick: the most powerful crew in the world until Marineford, a family more than a crew.

The Summit War cost the crew its captain and its most beloved commander. A year later, Marco led the survivors against Blackbeard in the "Payback War", and lost it: the crew scattered, Marco retired as a village doctor, and Whitebeard's former islands passed under other flags. They remain the crew most mourned by readers, and one of the most represented in figures: Whitebeard on his throne, 23 cm, Marco the Phoenix, 30 cm, Ace with his flames unleashed, 28 cm and the Moby Dick figure make it possible to rebuild the ship's deck on the eve of Marineford.

The Red-Haired Pirates: Shanks and his lieutenants

The Red-Haired Pirates are the first crew the series shows, in chapter 1, in Foosha Village: it is Shanks who gives his hat to Luffy. Their captain, Shanks, a former apprentice of Roger, carries the largest active bounty in the series, 4,048,900,000 berries; his first mate, Benn Beckman, is the only man who ever made Kizaru hesitate; Yasopp, Usopp's father, is the best sniper in the world; Lucky Roux, the giant with the chicken leg, turns out to be one of the fastest. The ship is called the Red Force. It is a crew known for having no weak link: few members, no known Devil Fruit user at the top, and a collective Haki that even the Navy avoids.

Shanks, Beckman and Lucky Roux: the crew with no weak link, the one that swept away Kid's crew at Elbaf.

Long kept away from the fighting, the Red-Haired Pirates went into action in the latest arcs: at Elbaf, Shanks ended the Kid Pirates with a single blow of his Conqueror's Haki, before the giants Dorry and Brogy sent Kid's ship to the bottom. The manga has also revealed his twin, Shamrock, and Shanks's role with the Five Elders: the Red-Haired Pirates are at the center of the end of the series. Our figure of Red-Haired Shanks the Emperor, 24 cm, the Benn Beckman in ambush figure, 25 cm, and the Red Force figure make up the most requested crew after the Straw Hats.

The Blackbeard Pirates: the ten Titanic Captains

The Blackbeard Pirates are the only crew to have earned Emperor status through betrayal: Marshall D. Teach, formerly of Whitebeard's second division, killed his crewmate Thatch to steal the Dark-Dark Fruit from him, handed Ace over to the Navy, then tore the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit from a dying Whitebeard. Two fruits in a single body, an anomaly the series has not yet explained. Around him, ten commanders, the Titanic Captains, most of them recruited on Level 6 of Impel Down: Jesus Burgess, Shiryu of the Rain, Van Augur, Avalo Pizarro, Laffitte, Catarina Devon, Sanjuan Wolf, Vasco Shot, Doc Q, and the former admiral Aokiji, Kuzan. Their lair is Pirate Island, Hachinosu, and their ship the Saber of Xebec.

Blackbeard collects Devil Fruits the way others collect treasure, and his crew has already brought down Law, a member of the Worst Generation, at Winner Island, after crushing what was left of the Whitebeard Pirates in the Payback War. He is now the designated final opponent of the manga, the one Luffy has not faced since Impel Down. Our figure of Blackbeard Darkness, 26 cm and the Ace versus Blackbeard diorama recall the fight at Banaro, the one that tipped the series toward Marineford.

Kaido's Beasts Pirates

The Beasts Pirates were an army more than a crew: several tens of thousands of men, including hundreds of users of artificial Devil Fruits, the SMILEs, under the orders of Kaido, the "strongest creature in the world", whose bounty reached 4,611,100,000 berries. Below him, three All-Stars, King, Queen and Jack, then the Tobi Roppo, six commanders including X Drake and Who's-Who, and the base of Onigashima, off the coast of Wano, which they had occupied for twenty years with the shogun Orochi. Kaido had ruled there since the fall of the Rocks Pirates, allied with Big Mom and supplier to Doflamingo.

Kaido and Big Mom, two former members of the Rocks Pirates turned Emperors, allied for one night on Onigashima, and fallen the same night.

The crew fell in a single night, that of the Onigashima raid: Zoro brought down King, Sanji beat Queen, Law and Kid toppled Big Mom, and Luffy, awakened in Gear 5, plunged Kaido into the magma beneath the island. It is the biggest pitched battle in the series, the one that made Luffy an Emperor and ended twenty years of occupation. Our figure of Kaido, the Emperor of the Beasts Pirates, 24 cm, King the Wildfire figure, 34 cm, and Luffy Gear 5 versus Kaido diorama tell that night in three pieces.

The Big Mom Pirates

The Big Mom Pirates are a family in the literal sense: Charlotte Linlin, bounty 4,388,000,000 berries, had eighty-five children by forty-three husbands, and her sons and daughters make up the general staff of her crew. The three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri, Smoothie and Cracker, are its elite; Perospero, the eldest, the minister of candy; and Totto Land, an archipelago of thirty-four islands with gourmet themes, their kingdom. The ship is the Queen Mama Chanter, a floating cake that sings. Big Mom dreamed of a country where every race would live at her table, and of a tea party with the Vinsmokes that went wrong: it was there, at Whole Cake Island, that Luffy's crew came to get Sanji back.

Allied with Kaido for the Onigashima raid, Big Mom fell there to Law and Kid, hurled into the magma beneath the island. Her crew survives, beheaded, under the authority of her children. Luffy's fight against Katakuri in the Mirro-World remains one of the manga's best-loved duels, and our Charlotte Katakuri figure, 39 cm keeps his stance; the Big Mom figure, 26 cm, and the Queen Mama Chanter figure complete the Charlotte family.

The Cross Guild: Buggy, Mihawk and Crocodile

The Cross Guild is the youngest of the great crews, and the strangest. Born from the dissolution of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, in chapter 1056, it brings together Crocodile, who put up the money, Dracule Mihawk, who put up his blade, and Buggy, who put up nothing but whose face ended up on the poster by mistake: the Government took him for the leader and granted him the title of Emperor, with a bounty of 3,189,000,000 berries. The Cross Guild turns the bounty system upside down: it pays pirates who capture Marines, ranked in stars and crowns, and makes soldiers tremble the world over.

Behind the comedy, the organization is formidable: the greatest swordsman in the world and the former master of Baroque Works, with Buggy's army and its mercenary delivery services. The manga holds it in reserve for the finale, and fans await the moment when Mihawk and Zoro will stand face to face again. Our figure of Buggy the Clown, Emperor, 26 cm, the Mihawk with Yoru figure, 38 cm and the Sir Crocodile figure, 29 cm, bring the three founders together, and our bounty ranking details the system of stars and crowns they invented.

The Worst Generation: Law, Kid and the others

The Worst Generation refers to the eleven rookies who arrived at Sabaody with bounties above one hundred million, plus Blackbeard. Three of them, Luffy, Law and Kid, took Onigashima together. The Heart Pirates of Trafalgar Law are a band of surgeons in boiler suits and caps: Bepo the polar bear, Shachi, Penguin, Jean Bart, aboard the submarine Polar Tang. The Kid Pirates, Eustass Kid and his first mate Killer, Heat and Wire, on the Victoria Punk, were the most violent of the rookies. The others, Hawkins the magician, Apoo the musician, Drake the double agent, Urouge, Bege the mobster and Bonney, went opposite ways: Hawkins and Apoo served Kaido, Drake the Navy, Bege founded the Fire Tank Pirates and Bonney went through the Egghead arc at Luffy's side.

What followed was cruel for Luffy's two allies. After Wano, each left with a Road Poneglyph: Law ran into Blackbeard at Winner Island and lost his submarine, Kid ran into Shanks at Elbaf and lost his crew. As of September 24, 2026, the Heart Pirates survive, scattered, and the Kid Pirates have vanished from the seas. That is the lesson of the Worst Generation: the New World makes no room for runners-up. Our Trafalgar Law Room figure, 43 cm, the Bepo in his orange jumpsuit figure, 24 cm, the Polar Tang figure and the Killer the Massacre Soldier figure, 21 cm, gather the two crews; our bounty ranking follows their posters since Sabaody.

The crews people forget: Sun, Donquixote, Kuja, Spade

Other crews have weighed on the story without ever aiming for the title of Emperor. The Sun Pirates, founded by Fisher Tiger after freeing the slaves of Mary Geoise, then led by Jinbe and torn apart by Arlong, carry the whole question of the fish-men: Jinbe left them to join Luffy. The Donquixote Pirates, Doflamingo's crew, held Dressrosa for ten years with Trebol, Diamante, Pica and Vergo, before falling to Luffy and Law; their captain is now locked up in Impel Down. The Kuja Pirates of Boa Hancock, the warrior women of Amazon Lily aboard the Perfume Yuda, protect the island of women and hid Luffy after Marineford. The Spade Pirates were Ace's crew before he joined Whitebeard; the Rumbar Pirates, Brook's, died in the Florian Triangle singing Binks' Sake for the whale Laboon.

One must also count the East Blue crews, those of the first volumes: Alvida, Buggy the Clown, Kuro's Black Cat Pirates, Krieg and above all Arlong, whose fall earned Luffy his first bounty. They are small crews, but the series keeps recalling them: Buggy became an Emperor, Kuro and Krieg haunt the volume covers, and Arlong gave Nami her reason to draw her map. Our Jinbe figure, 14.5 cm, the Boa Hancock the Empress figure, 26.5 cm, the Kuja Perfume Yuda figure, the Spade Pirates' ship and the Doflamingo figure, 29 cm, cover these second-tier crews that changed everything.

Which is the strongest crew in One Piece?

The question comes up in every discussion, and it has no single answer: the crews do not exist in the same era, and a crew of ten against an army of thirty thousand does not have the same strength depending on whether you count heads or summits. Here is our reading, keeping the legends apart from the present.

Rank Crew Era Why
1 Rocks Pirates Forty years ago Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido and Shiki on the same ship: four future Emperors. It took Roger and Garp together to stop them.
2 Roger Pirates A generation ago The only crew to have reached Laugh Tale, with Rayleigh, Gaban, Oden and two future Emperors aboard.
3 Whitebeard Pirates Until Marineford The strongest man in the world, sixteen commanders, and the only fleet to have attacked Navy Headquarters.
4 Red-Haired Pirates Today No weak link, a captain at 4 billion, and the Kid Pirates swept away with a single blow at Elbaf.
5 Blackbeard Pirates Today Two legendary fruits in the captain's hands, ten commanders from Impel Down, two rookies already brought down.
6 Straw Hat Pirates Today Ten members, 8.8 billion in bounties, an awakened Emperor and a Grand Fleet: the only crew still on the rise.
7 Beasts Pirates Until Onigashima The biggest army in the series and the strongest creature in the world, fallen in a single night.
8 Big Mom Pirates Until Onigashima A family of eighty-five children and three Sweet Commanders, deprived of its captain.
9 Cross Guild Today Mihawk and Crocodile under Buggy's banner: a potential the manga has not yet shown.
10 Heart Pirates Today A captain worth 3 billion and a decisive alliance at Onigashima, but a sunken submarine and a scattered crew.

Three clarifications. Bounties do not measure everything: Chopper is worth one thousand berries and the Rocks commanders had no posters. The ranking shifts with every arc: Luffy's crew is the only one in the table whose trajectory is rising, and the Red-Haired Pirates the only one that has never lost a fight shown on screen. Finally, the Cross Guild is a gamble: two of its three founders rank among the strongest fighters in the world, but they have never been seen fighting side by side. For individual power, character by character, our tier list of the strongest One Piece characters takes over.

A crew is recognized by its ship and its flag. The Going Merry, given to Luffy by Kaya, carried the crew from the East Blue to Water Seven before receiving a Viking funeral; the Thousand Sunny, built by Franky from Adam Wood, replaced it and still sails. Whitebeard's Moby Dick, with its whale figurehead, was sunk at Marineford; Roger's Oro Jackson, built by Tom, is the ship of Laugh Tale; Shanks's Red Force, with its red dragon figurehead, still cruises; Kid's Victoria Punk was sunk at Elbaf by the giants Dorry and Brogy; Big Mom's Queen Mama Chanter sings; Law's Polar Tang dives, or used to; the Kuja's Perfume Yuda is pulled by sea serpents; Blackbeard's Saber of Xebec bears the name of the Rocks captain. As for the flags, the Straw Hats' is a skull wearing Luffy's hat; Whitebeard's, a skull with a white mustache on a cross; Blackbeard's, three skulls; Big Mom's, a skull in a pirate bonnet with a greedy mouth.

Ships are the least known part of the One Piece collection, and one of the most spectacular in a display case. We have ten of them as figures: Luffy's two ships, the Going Merry and the Thousand Sunny, the Moby Dick, the Oro Jackson, the Red Force, the Queen Mama Chanter, the Polar Tang, the Perfume Yuda, the Spade Pirates' ship, and two ships that are not pirate ships, the Wind Granma of the Revolutionary Army and the Navy ship HQ.3. One rule for displaying them: ships go in front of the figures, never behind, and a fleet of three reads better than a lone ship. Our One Piece world map locates each one's home port.

Assembling a crew in figures

Collecting a crew is the favorite project of One Piece fans, and the longest: the Straw Hat crew takes ten pieces, and the urge to add the ship always comes. Three tips to get it right. Settle on a size from the first piece: our Straw Hats range from 9 to 33 cm, and a 20 cm Zoro next to a 33 cm Brook breaks the crew effect; the 20 to 30 cm range is the most complete for all ten. Choose an era: before or after the time skip, outfits and proportions change, and a mixed crew shows. Start with the trio, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, who exist in every size, then fill in the posts: Nami, Chopper and Robin are easy to find, Usopp, Franky, Brook and Jinbe take more patience.

Same size, same era, the trio first and then the posts: the method for gathering the ten Straw Hats on one shelf.

For the other crews, one collects the captains and their seconds: Whitebeard with Marco and Ace, Shanks with Beckman, Law with Bepo, Kaido with King, Big Mom with Katakuri, the Cross Guild in full. Canvas wanted posters complete the wall behind the display case, and the "Crew" series of our iPhone cases puts each Straw Hat into everyday life. For tight budgets, the One Piece chibi make it possible to gather the whole crew in small format, and our hungry trio in chibi, 15 cm already brings three members together in one piece. One rule for everything made of PVC: no direct sunlight, which yellows whites and skin tones, and a closed display case as soon as the crew exceeds five pieces. Our guide to displaying and caring for figures covers lighting and heights; to give a piece to a fan starting a collection, our One Piece gift guide helps choose by favorite character; and for Luffy himself, our guide to Luffy figures compares forms and sizes.

Frequently asked questions

How many members does Luffy's crew have?

Ten, Luffy included: Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbe. Luffy had announced in chapter 1 that he would need "at least ten companions", which feeds the idea of an eleventh member to come. Nefertari Vivi sailed with the crew without being a full member.

Who are the members of the Straw Hat Pirates, in order?

Luffy, then Zoro (chapter 6), Nami (chapter 94, after first betraying the crew), Usopp (chapter 41), Sanji (chapter 68), Chopper (chapter 153), Robin (chapter 218), Franky (chapter 437), Brook (chapter 489) and Jinbe (chapter 976). Nami is the second one met but the fourth to join for good.

What is each member's role in Luffy's crew?

Luffy is the captain, Zoro the swordsman, Nami the navigator, Usopp the sniper, Sanji the cook, Chopper the doctor, Robin the archaeologist, Franky the shipwright, Brook the musician and Jinbe the helmsman. Each post matches a personal dream, which is the crew's trademark.

What is the total bounty of the Straw Hat Pirates?

8,816,001,000 berries since Wano: Luffy 3 billion, Zoro 1.111 billion, Jinbe 1.1 billion, Sanji 1.032 billion, Robin 930 million, Usopp 500 million, Franky 394 million, Brook 383 million, Nami 366 million and Chopper 1,000 berries. The detail of each poster is in our bounty ranking.

Will there be an eleventh member in Luffy's crew?

The manga has not settled it as of September 24, 2026. The three names fans cite most are Vivi, back in the foreground at Egghead, Yamato, who has stayed in Wano for now, and Carrot. Luffy's phrase, "at least ten companions", leaves one seat open.

Is Vivi part of the Straw Hat Pirates?

Not strictly speaking. Nefertari Vivi sailed with the crew from Reverse Mountain to Alabasta, then chose to remain princess of her kingdom; the crew saluted her by raising their arms, their sign of friendship. The wiki lists her as a former member, and many fans consider her the eleventh person aboard.
